A serious traffic accident occurred shortly before 8 tonight on Adamantiou Korai Street in Paralimni with a 35-year-old driver from Paralimni involved.
Specifically, the 35-year-old was riding a large-capacity motorcycle on Korai Street in Paralimni, heading from the Paralimni-Deryneia roundabout to the traffic lights of the former Famagusta Police Department.
At some point on the road, the 35-year-old seems to have overtaken his vehicle, resulting in a violent collision with a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old resident of Paralimni, which at the time of the collision was trying to turn right according to its course in an apartment building.
As a result of the collision, the motorcycle was split in two, with the result that the other half of the motorcycle ended up in another vehicle.
The 35-year-old was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Famagusta in Paralimni.
