Among the beautiful beaches that Cyprus has, there are those that you can visit with your favorite dogs. Although isolated, they are the only ones that allow dogs to access, based on legislation. 

According to the revised list compiled by the Ministry of Tourism, these are the following seven locations.

4. The beach northwest of Paphos airport, at the mouth of the river Ezousa, within the boundaries of the Community Council of Achelia, Paphos province.

5. The beach in the area of ​​Pitili, east of the mouth of the river Platania, within the boundaries of the Community Council of Neo Chorio, in the province of Paphos.

6. The beach at the location of Karavopetra, southeast of the wastewater treatment plant of S.AL.A., within the boundaries of the Community Council of Monagroullio, in the province of Limassol

7. The beach at Prolimnos, west of Pissouri, within the boundaries of the Community Council of Pissouri, Limassol province.

However, there are some regulations that must be followed under the law.

On the beaches the dog owner will see some regulations written on signs and specifically

owners or attendants should always bring their dog's license and health books with them.
Dogs will be tied with a leash when they are not in the sea
dog owners have an obligation to clean their dogs (collection and removal of dirt)
Finally, according to the Central Beach Commission, breach of dog owners' obligations and responsibilities under the law will result in criminal prosecution.
