The occupancy rate of hotels throughout Cyprus, in the main week of the holidays for most, ranges from 90% -100%.
Speaking to SigmaLive, the General Manager of PASYXE, Zacharias Ioannidis, stated that both the hotels and the accommodation these days are almost overcrowded.
However, as he noted, it is possible to find a hotel or accommodation even now.
According to the Booking website, first in full for the period 16-21 August, are Protaras, Ayia Napa and Paphos with a percentage of 98% each, second comes Larnaca with a percentage of 94% and third Limassol with a percentage of 88% .
As the days go by, it is natural, said Mr. Ioannidis, for vacationers to have more choices of hotels and accommodation.
It is worth noting that tourism, compared to 2018, has decreased due to exogenous and endogenous factors.
In addition, PASYXE has published a list of special prices for domestic tourism from April to October 2019. This list includes 111 hotels in all cities of Cyprus, with prices increasing depending on the season.
According to him, the lowest prices per province for the month of August are:
-in Nicosia from 80 euros for a double room (in seven accommodations)
-in Limassol from 104 euros for a double room and from 50 euros for a studio (in ten accommodations)
-in Larnaca from 80 euros for a double room (in seven accommodations)
-in free Famagusta from 105 euros for a double room and from 72 euros for a studio (in 36 accommodations)
-in Paphos from 50 euros for a double room and from 65 euros for a studio (in 41 accommodations)
-in Troodos from 47 euros for a double room.
