Recently, the Board of Directors of KOA was announced, with Panagiotis Trisokkas holding a position as a member. The former captain of the National Team of Cyprus in a post on Facebook thanked all those who proposed his appointment and at the same time announced the end of his career.
In detail, the announcement:
"I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the President of the Republic, the Council of Ministers and those who proposed me for my recent appointment to the board of directors of the COM. Great honor and great responsibility at the same time. I will give my best for Cypriot sports, helping the Cypriot athlete to bring more success to the island. The province of Famagusta should be proud that a child of its own is appointed to the COM. At the same time I announce my retirement from active action, because this is the right thing to continue training with respect for the team, the management, my teammates and the coach. My last show with the crimson jersey will be in the first game in the new indoor, where I hope it will be with the Lightning team that I made my name. I am also leaving ESYAA as a coach, but I will be close to the children I love so much in my own special way. We will say more before or after my last game. Thank you all very much".
