This year's carnival of Famagusta is approaching, the processes continue at a crazy pace and the events are ready.
According to the announcement of the Municipality of Paralimni, as every year, the events start on Thursday, when all of us will gather from the afternoon in the square of Agios Georgios in Paralimni to eat, drink and of course dance to live music by the "PILGRIMS" orchestra ».
The "tsiknoma", as every year, will be undertaken by organized groups, which will sell the traditional dishes of the day.
The biggest event of the evening will be the ARRIVAL OF KING Dimitris Tsierkezos (Pepe), who will receive the scepter from last year's royal couple, Christianas Siopacha and Costas Florentzou. Young and old come meet this year's King and of course let's eat, drink and dance!!!
Second stop the evening foot traffic and wild party (Saturday March 16, 2024)
If you were at last year's footy and the party that followed, we don't need to say much. For those who will come for the first time, let's say that the established evening footrace will take place in the main streets of Paralimni and you don't need to come with a group.
All together, each with the theme he chooses to dress up, we will spill out into the streets and dance samba and other rhythms that will of course match the day!

Third stop of the great Provincial Famagusta Carnival parade 2024 (Sunday March 17, 2024)
The carnival events culminate on Sunday, March 17 with the Famagusta Provincial Carnival Parade which will be held along Protaras Avenue in Paralimni. Young and old gather with a lot of madness and our wonderful costumes, some to take part in the parade and others to watch it and have fun!!
