The international shooters of the Shooting Organization of the Province of Famagusta (SKOEPA) George Kazakos and Panagiota Andreou, were the big winners in the second skate match of the Pancyprian Shooting Championship OPAP. At the same time, the young Kleanthis Varnavidis and Anastasia Eleftheriou won in the categories of teenagers and young people, securing a place in the top three of men and women respectively.
According to SKOK, the match that was the first after the suspension of the championship due to a pandemic, was for the "Kyrenia Cup" and took place at the Olympic shooting range of Larnaca last weekend, July 20 and 21.
With the completion of the race, the champion of SKOPAF George Achilleos with 123/125 took the lead in the final and followed with 122/125, the teenager Kleanthis Varnavidis and Stefanos Nikolaidis of SKOLIH periliola Vasilidis and the athletes of SKOLE 120/125 and 118/125 respectively. The six-time final was completed by the later winner George Kazakos with 117/125, who finally took the victory with 53/60, against 51/60 of Stefanos Nikolaidis. The young Kleanthis finished third with 41/50 and Menelaos finished fourth with 34/60. George Achilleos (24/30) and Nikolas Vassiliou (13/20) completed the six awards.
In the women's ranking, led by Konstantina Nikolaou of SKOAM with 117/125, the winner was the most accurate in the final, Panagiota Andreou with 51/60, who in the regular race achieved 113/125. The second place was taken by the winner of the juniors Anastasia Eleftheriou with 47/60 (97/125) and the third by Konstantina Nikolaou with 37/50. Louisa Theofanous of SKOLEY (108/125) and Sotiria Andreou of SKOEPA (95/125) finished in fourth and fifth place.
With 122/125, Stefanos Nikolaidis took the first place in the general classification of the 114nd category and Kleanthis Varnavidis was the winner in the 125st category of teenagers, while in the corresponding 104nd category the teenager Kyriakos Michael of SKOLAR won with 125 / XNUMX and to the children Andreas Pontikis of the same Organization with XNUMX/XNUMX.
