The Fire Department from 06.00 of 26 November 2020 until 06.00 of 27 November 2020 responded to 31 calls for help, 21 fires, 9 special services and 1 false call, according to an announcement by the Fire Service.

The Fire Service responded in the morning to four incidents which involved heavy rainfall in the area of the Municipality of Sotiras, Famagusta Province. The incidents involved towing a vehicle from a flooded road without endangering anyone and pumping rainwater from three premises (catechism, machine shop and bakery), the announcement finally states.
Also, at 14.27 yesterday, a call was received for a fire in an apartment on the 2nd floor of a three-storey apartment building in Palouriotissa, at 22.48 yesterday, a call was received for a fire in trucks transporting feed on Themidos Street in Palouriotissa, at 04.17 today in Strovolos.
