The Party for the Animals of Cyprus calls on the Attorney General to immediately examine the recent reports of the former DISY MP Eugenios Hamboullas and whether any other crimes arise, to proceed with their immediate investigation.

The party, in a statement on Sunday night, condemned the latest statements and statements of Eugenios Hamboulas (his comments in a post on FamagustaNews) "which in essence urges the citizens of this country to use violence", adding that such statements by politicians have no place in a country with a democratic state. "Under no circumstances should any citizen, let alone a former member of parliament, have the right to incite or incite citizens to acts of violence," the statement said.
"The activism that Mr. Hampoullas expressed in an abominable and condemnable way, has a wide range which is not limited only to the huge social problem concerning animals but also to activists of all categories who aim to awaken the citizens and to to make them think about the future of the place ", the announcement concludes.
