The complaint of a father from Ayia Napa who complained through the Sigma show "Mesimeri kai chi" pharmacy in Ayia Napa that he gave his 16-year-old daughter "Zanax" antidepressants without a prescription is shocking.

The 16-year-old then took 13-18 pills and according to her father, then attempted suicide.

The President of the Pancyprian Association of Pharmacists, Mrs. Eleni Piera Isseyek, assured through the show that the case will be investigated. He underlined, at the same time, the fact that in the pharmacy there was a recurring prescription for the specific preparations in the minor.

The case has been reported to the Police who are investigating the incident.
