The state of health of a 49-year-old resident of Avgoros is considered extremely critical, who shortly before noon on Monday fell, for an unknown reason, from the roof of the 5th floor of an apartment building in Larnaca.
According to the Police, around 11:40 on Monday afternoon, information was received that a person had fallen from the roof of an apartment building. Members of the Minor Offenses Department of TAE Larnaca and the Emergency Department went to the scene where after examinations they found that the person who seems to have fallen from the 5th floor of the building is a 49-year-old Greek Cypriot, resident of Avgoros. Police have not secured a testimony regarding the circumstances of the 49-year-old's fall.
The 49-year-old was transported by ambulance to Larnaca General Hospital where he was admitted to the operating room. His condition is considered extremely critical by the treating physicians.
At around 6 in the afternoon, Medical Examiner Sophocles Sophocles visited the scene and performed an autopsy. At first glance, Mr. Sophocles ruled out criminal activity.
