Next year, the new generation of the Audi A4 will reach European markets. At the moment, according to information and electronically processed photos, we see that the new medium of the German car industry will have many design touches borrowed from its bigger brother, the A6, with a much more imposing appearance than the previous generation.
The grille on the redesigned bumper has been enlarged (downwards), while the new elongated luminaires have been installed, which have LED daytime running lights and follow the brand philosophy.
If we go to the rear of the new A4, we notice that the third volume is lifted slightly upwards, creating a slight illusion of a 4-door coupe.
According to information, the dimensions of the new model will be 4.701 mm. its length, 1.826 mm. the width and 1.437 mm. his height.
In addition, the information indicates that it will step on a new platform "MLB" - which concerns cars with the engine along their longitudinal axis - with the rest of the features of course not different from the MQB platform.
There is no evidence for its interior, but the existence of a touch screen with infontainment system (MMI) and rich equipment, which will "consolidate" the prestige of the premium medium, is considered a given.
Under the hood now, it is expected to have the 1,4 lt. 4-cylinder TSI, delivering from 122 to 180 hp. Also, the 2 liter TFSI of 225 hp will be available, while it is planned to be equipped with a hybrid plug-in set, which will combine a 4-cylinder 2 liter gasoline engine and an electric motor of 95 hp. Thus, in this version the A4 will be able to cover about 50 km, with purely electric drive.
