Today, according to information, the proposal for reduction of fees, prepared by the Ministries of Finance, Transport and Trade as well as Hermes, will be submitted to the Council of Ministers. The increase according to secure information is expected to be gradual depending on the tourist traffic. In peak periods, that is, the fees are expected to decrease dramatically. The proposal aims to attract low-cost companies in Cyprus, as well as lower-income passengers, to whom the cost of the ticket will no longer be prohibitive.
