Markos Pagdatis was yesterday, Friday, at Sotira and at the XNUMXrd Primary All-Day School to support the work of the "Wisdom for Children" Foundation.
His visit lasted more than two hours, during which the Cypriot tennis player answered questions from the children, cooked for the 118 school children, played tennis with them and signed autographs.
"I learned about the work of the Wisdom for Children Foundation when I was approached to give one of my rackets to a TV auction. Since then I want to be close to them and help as much as I can. "Especially in such a difficult period, every child must have a plate of food every day at his table!"
The Sofia Foundation, after repairing and equipping the school kitchen, which cost more than 17.000 euros, undertook the preparation of the food, which is cooked daily in collaboration with the unemployed mothers of the area.
