The Department of Postal Services accepts applications from residents of Sotira and the surrounding area who are interested in taking over the management of the Sotiras Post Agency as well as the work of home delivery of mail with a fee of € 990.28 per month, in the form of assignment and not contract of employment.
2. The necessary conditions for submitting an application are the candidates:
a) Hold a motorcycle license,
b) Have a motorcycle / moped,
c) To be able to dispose of a suitable premises (eg store, office, separate space in a house with independent access, etc.) in case this is not available from the relevant Community / Municipal Council,
d) Have a White Criminal Record.
3. Applications can also be submitted by retirees who have not passed the 75th (seventy-fifth) year of their age or employees in the Public and wider Public Sector. These applications will be taken into account as there are no suitable unemployed candidates.
4. It is emphasized that priority will be given to the unemployed who meet the necessary TIC requirements. referred to in paragraph 2 above regardless of the qualifications of any other candidate.
5. The assignment of tasks will be for a period of three (3) years. It is noted that the Department has the right to unilaterally renew the agreement for recurring periods with the same or different terms, if it deems necessary, at its sole discretion.
