This method, according to the MP, is applied in special climatic conditions with great success by the producers, in contrast to the method of mixing where the OGA had spent a lot of money for research purposes without any applicable results.
In his announcement, Mr. Hatzigiannis finally states that the coverage of the cost of frost protection by the OGA, since the state saves from this protection and does not pay damages that are prevented and the quantities of water intended for frost protection are not credited to the producers nor as a cost, but also as a quantity, are some of the measures that the Competent Departments are called to study and take the relevant decisions on this issue.
