The 2nd Sports and Volunteer Awards are organized by the Culture Committee of the Municipality of Sotiras on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 8:15 p.m. at the Municipal Theater Sotiras.
The organization of these awards aims to spread the sporting spirit and the altruistic ideal to the citizens, aiming at the promotion of sports and volunteering as some of the highest goods that should govern today, while contributing to a human-centered education. .

The event will honor young people from the Municipality of Sotira who have achieved significant distinction in sports competitions, representatives of the Savior in the European Sports Area such as Dimitris Christofi (Sion) and Grigoris Kastanos (Juventus) but also important personalities from the field of Sports in Cyprus , such as Leontia Kallenou and Nektaria Panagi.
At the same time, personalities who have actively contributed to important charitable work in Sotira will be awarded, such as the former President of Anorthosis, Mr. Kikis Konstantinou, Mr. Pavlos Pavlakis, Mr. Sergis Sergiou and Mrs. Marina Siakola on behalf of the Sophia Foundation for Children .
