The Ethnographic Museum of Avgorou presented today at a press conference a book entitled "Potato Teases" which contains more than 20 gourmet alternative recipes based on the potato and includes jam, face creams and soaps.
The book was published by the Organizing Committee of the Potato Festival on the occasion of the 5th Pancyprian Potato Festival that will be organized on July 22, 2017 and with the help of volunteers and the advisory help of chefs Nikos Stylianos, George Kyprianos, Kyriakos Marinos, George Damianos, Antonis Attou Stefanos Chrysanthou.
In his greeting, the Mayor of Avgoros Panagiotis Michailas stated that "the book includes recipes, useful tips, ways of utilization and other interesting facts about the unique product in nutritional value of Avgoros and Kokkinochoria, the potato.
