In statements to KYPE, Mr. Theodosiou described as "positive move" the extension given to the deadline for submitting bids from abroad for the identification program, until March 23, as, as he said, it aims to give more time for negotiation between of both parties. 
He also reminded that the position of the organization is to keep the program of identifications in Cyprus and called on both sides to do everything possible to bridge their differences. At the same time, he added that what is required for the relatives of the missing is to do work, expressing reservations about the attitude of the organization in case of a deadlock. 
Mr. Theodosiou also mentioned that the intentions of Christoph Girond, the third member of the CMP, are very positive and are moving in the direction of the program's stay in Cyprus. 
Asked about his image regarding the negotiations between the two sides, Mr. Theodosiou said that "there were differences" and that "it seems that the most are being bridged and there are very few left". 
Regarding the submission to the Parliament of a bill for staff recruitment in order to speed up the identification process, Mr. Theodosiou said that "there is a very positive intention on the part of Parliament" and expressed his belief that the bill will be passed by the Anthropological Laboratory. CMP will be staffed with a larger number of staff. 
"We hope that very soon the whole process will find the pace required for the program to proceed" of the identifications, concluded Mr. Theodosiou.
