Asked about the issue, Finance Minister Kiki Kazamias said Qatar had been asked to formally clarify whether it was able to carry out the project.
The finance minister said he could wait until the next few days, adding that he would be upset if Qatar responded negatively. He stressed, however, that there are many other investors waiting in line.
The Minister of Finance rejected the obstruction in the issue of the casino, saying that the issue may be discussed in the Council of Ministers in 15 days.
He also said that at tomorrow's meeting of the Council of Ministers he will submit a series of development projects, while at the next meeting the rest of the measures will be submitted.
Kikis Kazamias was asked to comment on information they want about him as the next Governor of the Central Bank. He clarified that he was never interested, nor will he ever show interest in this position, since, as he stated, he considers that he does not have the technocratic qualifications.
