The Municipality of Sotiras was visited last week (22/10) by the Ambassador of Lebanon to Cyprus, Dr. Youssef Sadaka. In statements to the Cyprus News Agency, Mayor Sotiras stated that the meeting with the Lebanese ambassador was quite constructive, as he showed great interest and enthusiasm for the rapid and quality regeneration of the coastal front of Sotira. "We are very pleased with the meeting," said Mr Takkas, as our relations with Lebanon are at a very good level. We see huge opportunities opening up in our relationship, and they are more related to the real estate market, investments in our area, tourism and Civil Marriages. Afterwards, the Lebanese ambassador, at the invitation of TEVEA, attended a meeting with the Famagusta Tourist, Commercial and Industrial Chamber at the Sotiras Municipal Palace, where various issues were discussed in the presence of businessmen and local officials of the province.
