In addition, residents, landowners and users of the area of the Local Plan of the Free Province of Famagusta, as well as organized groups, will be given the opportunity to express their views on issues that concern them, as well as the vision of the local community for the area.
The elaboration of the Local Plan of the Free Province of Famagusta is promoted by the Local Authorities based on the provisions of the urban planning legislation and will be done by the Department of Urban Planning and Housing. The Local Authorities included in the Local Plan of the Free Province of Famagusta are the Municipality of Sotiras and the Community Councils of Avgoros, Liopetri, Frenaros, Agios Georgios Acheritos (part), Achnas (part) and Xylofagou (part). The boundaries of the study area are defined in the attached map.
The issues that will be raised at the meeting will be recorded, in order to be taken into account for the formulation of the suggestions of the Local Authority, which will be submitted in the context of the elaboration of the Local Plan.
