The Attorney General, Petros Clerides, gave the green light to the competent officer to proceed with their registration, after studying all the material in relation to each of the accused.
Procedural issues are attributed to the delay of almost two months, after the decision on who will be prosecuted until the case is registered before the Court.
The former Ministers are under accusation Markos Kyprianou and Costas Papakostas, the former Chief and Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces, Petros Tsalikidis and Savvas Argyrou, the colonel George Georgiadis, the Director and the Deputy Director of the Fire Service, Andreas Nikolaou and Pampos Charalambous and the Commander of EMAK, Andreas Loizidis.
All have already been charged in writing and are now expected to be charged in court.
