The submission of invitations to complete applications for unemployed EU recipients to participate in the Training Program for Unemployed Beneficiaries of Minimum Guaranteed Income, in the hotel and food industry, has begun.

Specifically, the start of training programs is scheduled for February, so that with the start of the tourist season in April, there will be trained people ready for employment.

The program is co-financed and the target group is EU recipients.

The aim is to integrate into the EU labor market and provide incentives to employers to employ EU recipients.

It is clarified that the Plan covers companies in all sectors of economic activities, which fall under Regulation (EC) No Council Regulation (EC) No 104/2000 and that the maximum number of recruitments based on the Plan by each employer / company may not exceed five (5).

The sponsorship provided to employers who will hire unemployed people belonging to the Target Group as defined in the Plan will be 60% of the salary of the employer with a maximum of € 6.000 and it will be granted for twelve (12) months.

The project is expected to bring together eight hundred and fifty (850) people from the Target Group and the total budget of the Plan is five million euros (€ 5.000.000).
