Two visitors from Norway and Sweden were recently honored with a commemorative plaque and the emblem of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, who made 24 and 22 visits respectively.

A written announcement from the Municipality of Ayia Napa states that the Cultural Officer of the Municipality Maria Tofini Tsantila "honored in a ceremony held at the reception of the City Hall, the traveler Pernille Alesund from Norway, who completed 24 visits to Ayia Napa".

Ms. Tofini "awarded the Norwegian regular visitor on behalf of the Mayor Giannis Karousos and the Municipal Council of Ayia Napa a commemorative plaque and the emblem of the Municipality, with which he proclaimed her Ambassador of Tourism of the city. At the same time, she expressed her warm thanks to everyone for her multiple visits and for the fact that Ayia Napa has remained its only tourist destination for so many years ".

In addition, Deputy Mayor Christos Zannettou honored with a commemorative plaque and the emblem of the Ambassador of Tourism of Ayia Napa Mirjana Andersson from Sweden on the occasion of completing 22 visits to the tourist resort.

According to the written announcement, "Mr. Zannettou warmly thanked Mrs. Andersson and wished her many more trips to Ayia Napa".
