This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, Haris Thrasou, adding that the increase will be valid while the mobile power plants are operating… Moreover, the chairman of the Energy Regulatory Authority, George Siammas, explained that the 6,96% increase was imposed to cover part of the operating costs of the EAC due to the use of less efficient units.
He also said that the situation in relation to the increase will be reassessed by the end of 2012.
