A 79-year-old tourist from Sweden and a 42-year-old from Romania, a resident of Ormidia, lost their lives yesterday, the first from sudden death and the second from a heart attack.

According to the Police, the 79-year-old tourist from Sweden, while she was in the hotel room where she is staying in Ayia Napa, for a reason unknown until now, lost consciousness. A doctor was immediately called and she was pronounced dead.

Police who were called to the scene did not find any criminal action against the 79-year-old. However, the exact causes of her death will be determined by the legal autopsy.

Also, the Famagusta General Hospital received information last night that around 20.00, a 42-year-old man from Romania, a resident of Ormidia, who had suffered a heart attack, was transferred to the First Aid Department.

According to the treating doctors, the 42-year-old was alive when he was transported to the Hospital but then left his last breath.
