The landing process was safely completed shortly after 8.00 in the morning at Larnaca Airport, a private company aircraft carrying VIP passengers, which was operating the route Cairo - Paris.
The plane was flying at a very high altitude inside the Nicosia FIR, when it requested an immediate emergency landing in Larnaca, due to signs of pressure loss in its hydraulic systems.
All the necessary steps were taken, both in the air traffic regulations and at the airport, and the aircraft, which was carrying nine passengers, landed safely.
