According to the latest information from the police report, the 14-year-old young man confessed who was brought in on Wednesday morning as a suspect for 9 of the 13 fires that have broken out since the beginning of the month in the area of Theologos.
Authorities (police and fire brigade) examined the video footage at their disposal and after the fire that broke out on Tuesday afternoon (17.08) in the area, were led to the tracks of the 14-year-old who according to the same information transmitted by the state channel lighters fires.
He confessed to 9 of the 13 fires
According to what was reported in the ERT news bulletin, the young man confessed that he was responsible for 9 of the 13 fires in the area, while due to the fact that he is a minor, his parents have also been brought in, while it was reported that the young man also faces psychological issues.
On Thursday morning, he is expected to be taken to the Prosecutor of Lamia in order to apologize for his act.
