The grant of Moderna for 12 and over was approved by EMA - What E. Panagiotopoulou says

The Deputy Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Elena Panagiotopoulou, spoke on the show INFORMATION NOW about the cases of side effects in Cyprus in relation to vaccination rates.

Among other things, Ms. Panagiotopoulou referred to the approval process for vaccination of ages 12 and over by the European Medicines Agency.

Specifically, Ms. Panagiotopoulou stated: "The European Medicines Agency has just approved the administration of the Moderna vaccine, the extension of use from the ages of 12 to 17. Therefore, apart from Pfizer, there is also the Moderna vaccine for children aged 12 to 17 ".

Regarding its grant to Cyprus, Ms. Panagiotopoulou: "In general, this tendency exists and today in other countries it was observed that this issue is being promoted."
