Headache, sore throat and runny nose are the most common symptoms of Indian coronavirus mutation, according to researchers at King's College.

These symptoms have been reported by carriers of the virus in the ZOE application of the University of London which records on a weekly basis the spread of the coronavirus and its symptoms.

"Covid is acting differently now, it's more like a bad cold," said Tim Spector, head of regular research and professor of genetic epidemiology, in a video posted on social media.

"People may think they have a seasonal cold and go out to a party. We think this triggers a lot of the problem. Therefore, it is important to realize that since the beginning of May (…) the number one symptom is the headache, followed by a sore throat, runny nose and fever ", revealed the British professor.

According to the British NHS Health System, the most common symptoms of coronavirus are fever, cough and loss of smell and taste.

According to Professor Spector, cough is the fifth most common symptom during the period when the Indian mutation has become predominant, while anosmia is not even among the ten most common symptoms.

He warned that new symptoms are more common in young people. They have not been vaccinated due to their age and at the same time they are more likely to socialize and transmit the virus without their knowledge.

Meanwhile, NHS England chief Sir Simon Stevens said he expected people 18 and older to make an appointment for vaccinations by the end of next week.

Today the dating platform is open for 23 and 24 year olds.
