Erdogan - "Ungrateful are those who say there is unemployment…"

Turkish President says those who claim that there is unemployment in Turkey are wrong and whoever wants bread exists

Recep Tayyip Erdogan described as ungrateful those who say that there is unemployment in his country.

The Turkish president said that those who claim that there is unemployment in OfρKia they are wrong and whoever wants bread is there.

In fact, according to SKAI, he referred to businessmen who are looking for workers for work and cannot find them. However, he did not mention the salaries they give.

He repeated the statement about "ungrateful" twice, while insisting on his own economic theory, noting that "I will bring my people to the place they deserve."

Banks raise interest rates to attract deposits

At the same time, Erdogan may claim that he will not tackle inflation by raising interest rates, but in fact this is exactly what Turkish banks are doing in trying to attract pound deposits and thus halt its rapid devaluation.

According to a Reuters report, deposit rates jumped more than 20% from 17-18% a week ago, while lending rates for small and medium-sized businesses rose more than 30%.

These interest rates have been rising for weeks, but their pace has accelerated in recent days, according to bankers.
