Popocatepetl volcano erupts in central Mexico on Saturday night
The Popocatepetl volcano, located 70 kilometers from Mexico City, erupted in the early hours of the morning, bringing the released ash to a height of two kilometers.
The smoke is moving northeast, according to Russian Today, while the video that was released shows the explosion and the lava pouring out of the crater.
Civil Protection asks residents to stay away from the area, with the risk level at number 2.
