Beijing (Xinhua) - The China National Observatory issued a yellow alert for today, Wednesday and tomorrow, Thursday, in view of the snowstorm that is expected to hit northeastern parts of the country.
The Center advises residents to stay at home and at the same time calls on local authorities to take all necessary measures on the road and rail network, as well as electricity and telecommunications services.
According to meteorologists, a cold front will hit areas of northern China, causing the temperature to drop by up to 10 degrees below zero.
