The Swiss Minister of Health has currently ruled out new restrictive measures to deal with the 5th wave of the pandemic, while the daily infections quadrupled in one month and reached their highest level for 2021.
"We are clearly facing the fifth wave," federal health adviser Alain Bershe admitted today during a press conference. The future of the pandemic "will depend on the behavior of everyone", he warned, but hoped that the development could be controlled with the existing measures ".
