Minneapolis has been on high alert in the United States following shootings that killed one man and injured 11 others.
In a Twitter post, Minneapolis police called on residents to avoid the area, but did not give further details about the shootings. It is a commercial area of the city, located near the Uptown Theater district with many bars and restaurants.
The incident took place in the center of Minneapolis, where African-American George Floyd passed away on May 25th, with a white police officer kicking him in the neck for eight minutes.
