"Lola" Francesca Susano, who is considered to be "the oldest man in the world" and the last woman born in the 1800s and still alive, died on Monday.
The death of Susano, who passed away at the age of 124, was confirmed by officials of Kabankalan in the province of Negros in the Philippines.
Local health officials have not announced the cause of Lola's death but are said to have had no coronavirus symptoms.
Francesca Susano was born on September 11, 1897 and is considered to be the oldest woman in the world, born in the 19th century. and 122 days.
