His parents are looking for why their son was as if they had embalmed him

An incident reminiscent of a mystery film, rather than a fact, has been going on for two years between Germany and Malta.

A 17-year-old, 2 years ago, decided to go on vacation for the first time without his parents and chose Malta as a place. Only the end was tragic, as Mike Mansolt was declared missing on July 22, as he had not returned home and on the 22nd of the month he was found dead at the foot of a cliff, according to a Times Of Malta article.

Upon hearing this, the first thing that comes to mind is that he would fall and suffer a fatal injury. Except that there is not a single fracture in his body, while some of his personal belongings were also missing.

In fact, his bike was found a few meters away without any particular damage, while it was found that he was not wearing his typical mountaineering shoes. The post-mortem examination by the medical examiners in Malta, however, did not answer the causes of death, giving the date of death 7-8 days before it was found.

So, the body was returned to his parents, but upon receipt, they found that it was much lighter than it should be, so they transferred it to the Medical University of Hanover, for a second autopsy.

There they suffered a shock, as it was found that the heart, the brain, the organs of the throat, the lungs, the liver, the pancreas, the adrenal glands, the right kidney, the bladder, the stomach and the small intestine were missing. According to reports, it was as if someone had embalmed him, as the only vital organs that existed were the left kidney, the diaphragm, the spleen and the large intestine.
