I had the immense privilege through my work to be able to contribute to the understanding of the universe. But it would be very empty if there were no people I love and who love me.

The most recognizable scientist after Albert Einstein, passed away. Both his scientific work and his personal life have inspired people around the world.

The British scientist was known for his discoveries about black holes and the theory of relativity, while his book The Chronicle of Time sold over ten million copies.

Hawking discovered that black holes lose energy and disappear, a phenomenon known as "Hawking radiation", and proved that Einstein's theory of relativity implies that space and time begin with the Big Bang and end with black holes.

"I was told I was two years old"

At the age of 22, Hawking was diagnosed with motor neurone disease and spent most of his life in this special wheelchair, speaking through a machine.

But that did not stop him from living a full life, while exploring the secrets of the universe.

Thanks to his extraordinary ability to explain in simple terms the complex truths of science, Hawking was very popular and participated in various series such as The Simpsons and the Big Bang Theory.

In memory of Stephen Hawking. Our honor to have him in "Big Bang Theory". Thank you for being a source of inspiration for us and the world.

Hawking's life was featured in 2014 in The Theory of Everything with Oscar winner Eddie Redmine playing the scientist.

"We are all time travelers. We are moving towards the future. Let's work together to make the future a place we want to visit. Be brave! Be determined! Overcome difficulties! It can be done!"
