Untitled plan 65 special plans, Minister of Labour

The Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance announces that the Decisions of the Minister of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance regarding the implementation of the Special Plans for dealing with the effects of the virus were published today in the Official Gazette of the Republic COVID-19, for the period from 1η December 2020 until 31η December 2020.

Specifically, the Decisions concern the following Special Plans:

i. Special Plan for Hotel Units and Tourist Accommodations (Decision No. 68, Κ.Δ.Π. 631/2020),

ii. Special Plan of Economic Activities Related to the Tourism Industry or Economic Activities that are directly affected by Tourism or Tourist Agencies or Economic Activities related to Companies that are under Compulsory Full Suspension or Businesses that are Under Compulsory SuspensionDecision No. 69, Κ.Δ.Π. 632/2020),

iii. Special Plan for Businesses of Certain Economic Activities (Decision No. 70, Κ.Δ.Π. 633/2020),

iv. Special Plan for the Complete Suspension of the Company's Operations (Decision No. 71, Κ.Δ.Π. 634/2020),

v. Special Unemployment Support Plan (Decision No. 72, Κ.Δ.Π. 635/2020)

vi. Special Plan for Certain Categories of Independent Workers Decision (Decision No. 73, Κ.Δ.Π. 636/2020) and

vii. Special Absenteeism Allowance (Decision No. 74, Κ.Δ.Π. 637/2020).

An announcement will follow for the posting of applications for participation in the Special Plans of December 2020. All those who fall under the beneficiaries of the Special Plans must definitely submit a new electronic application on the special website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy to receive the relevant allowance for the November period within the time limit to be determined, provided that they meet the terms and conditions.

It is emphasized that in order for the payment of the Special Allowances to be possible, the appropriate Bank Account Details Statement mentioned in each application must be submitted, provided that it has not already been submitted and confirmed. It is recalled that companies that participated in previous months in the Special Plans to deal with the consequences of the pandemic implemented by the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance, which either have not yet submitted bank account information or the data they have submitted could not to be identified with the respective Banking Institutions, they will not be able to receive any Special Allowance for the next phases of the Special Plans, unless they submit correct business account details in the specific electronic statement of bank account details (ESA.12) posted on the website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy.
