At The total number was 307,698 of vaccine doses against COVID-19 granted until yesterday in Cyprus (35 installments per 100 inhabitants). 31,9% (235,919 people) were vaccinated with 1η dose of licensed vaccines, while a percentage 9,9% (71,779 people) completed their vaccination regimen. Vaccination coverage in Cyprus continues unabated, approaching the target for its 1th dose by the end of June, in more than 60% of citizens who can be vaccinated.
Citizens of the age group of 30-39 years are currently given priority for vaccination. It is reminded that the Vaccination Portal will be available in the coming days as follows:

The results of vaccinations have begun to appear in Cyprus, with a dramatic reduction in hospital admissions for the elderly. According to the clues, 84,8% of people aged 80 and over have received at least 1η dose of the vaccine, while in the age group of 70-79 years the vaccination coverage at least with 1η dose reaches 80,5%. An increase is also recorded in age group 60-69 years, with the coverage rate reaching 58,4%.
