No further relaxation of the restrictive measures against the spread of the coronavirus will be discussed at the next meeting of the Scientific Advisory Committee (SCC), as informed by KYPE.

The established meeting of the TEU will take place next Monday, at 16:00, during which the new data recorded in Cyprus and the international arena will be evaluated, regarding the increase of cases from the spread of the Omicron variant.

According to information from reliable sources, during the meeting, the epidemiological picture of Cyprus will be evaluated, while suggestions will be made on the table, regarding the next steps of the government.

So far, however, the experts have not submitted any suggestion to the Minister of Health for new relaxations, since as informed by KYPE, they consider that it is relatively early to make other changes, since the latter were implemented only last week.
