An end to the much-praised issue of publishing the list of non-performing loans to politicians and other politically exposed persons was given today, Friday (29/01).
The famous list, which went through a thousand waves, was published today on the official website of the Parliament.
The decision for its publication was taken yesterday (28/01) by the Plenary Session of the Parliament with 47 votes in favor and 1 against.

The list of Giorkatzi is published as it was submitted by the former Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus and handed over to the former Speaker of Parliament in April 2019 and in this regard without prior intervention, any intervention to correct or remove data, which are recorded in the List as such, based on the data of 2019 and / or previous years and which may not correspond to the true financial picture for each person included in it.
The approximately 300-page list of Giorkatzi includes a host of names of politically exposed individuals as well as companies.
