Holiday allowance for mothers with many children and a Plan for the Provision of Trafficking Allowance to people with Thalassemia was decided by the Council of Ministers.
According to the statements of the Deputy Government Spokesperson, Klelia Vassiliou, the Ministry approved today the Proposal of the Minister of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance for the granting of a Holiday Gift of € 100 to 16.448 mothers with many children who received the Honorary Allowance for 2018 to amount to € 1.644.800.
Furthermore, the Council of Ministers approved the Proposal of the Minister of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance for the implementation of a Plan for the Provision of Trafficking Allowance to Persons with Thalassemia, which aims to provide a trafficking allowance to cover part of the costs for trafficking in persons with thalassemia. and from the Thalassemia Centers of the public hospitals, for the purposes of performing the necessary blood transfusions and accompanying medical examinations and treatments. The Plan will be implemented from 1.1.2019, by the Department of Social Integration of Persons with Disabilities of the Ministry of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance.
