Any issues and areas related to the teaching of children, "should be addressed directly by the Ministry of Education and not assigned to other bodies at the risk of misunderstanding, as we have seen in the past by the Ministry of Education and the Department of Cultural Services of the Ministry ", estimates the Cyprus Dance Association.
In an announcement, the Association states that ""One of its goals is to provide information on the good practice of art dance in private schools but also in the public sector because dance can be taught everywhere, but art dance, only in specially designed spaces and by specially trained teachers."
He adds that "We all have a huge responsibility in what has to do with the education of children and adolescents and that is why we insist on the proper training of our dance teachers for safe teaching and continuous up-to-date information and training."
Also, "Artistic activities as well as artistic creation are issues that directly concern the planned Ministry of Culture" The Cyprus Dance Association continues, noting with particular satisfaction the fact that the under-established Ministry of Culture "will be in consultation with relevant Ministries to create a unified cultural identity."
