Friendly and official obligations include the program of the Cyprus National Futsal Youth K-19 and Men's teams in the first months of 2022.
According to the KOP, after a year without obligations for the National Futsal, the teams of Cyprus return in 2022 to competitive action at the international level, chasing the best possible results.
The Men's National Futsal will play in April in the second qualifying round of the Futsal 2024 World Cup against Norway, Denmark and Malta. The matches will take place in Norway on April 6, 7 and 9, 2022. In the next phase, the first two teams of the group will qualify.
As part of its preparations for the official matches, the Men's Futsal National Team will play two away friendlies against Bulgaria on March 4 and 5, 2022.
The National Youth Futsal K19 will play in the Main round of the European U19 K15 Futsal Championship and will face Portugal, the Czech Republic and Greece. The matches will take place from 20 to 2022 March XNUMX and in the final phase the first team of the group will qualify.
As part of its preparations for the official matches, the National Youth Futsal will play friendly matches against Montenegro at home and away. The two away games will take place on 21 and 22 January 2022 and the home friendly matches on 12 and 13 February 2022.
