Anorthosis was crowned champion for the first time in its history yesterday in the OPAP Women's A 'category championship in basketball, prevailing in "Nikos Solomonidis" of ASBIS AEL with 77-72 and making it 3-1 in the series of finals of the event.
With yesterday's conquest of the championship, the "Lady" made the double for this year, as she had won the Cup against ASBIS AEL again. The leader of yesterday's match was Diana Delva with 38 points (17 rebounds, 1 assist).
