Yellow alarm for rains and storms

According to the message, the level of danger was upgraded to yellow, until 6 on Friday morning.

During this period the rainfall can exceed 35 mm per hour since a low barometric pressure will affect Cyprus with a lot of rain and thunderstorms.
At night the weather will be cloudy with local rains and severe thunderstorms, while in the highest peaks of Troodos snow is likely to fall. In the areas of storms the rainfall will be intense. The winds will be variable in direction, generally moderate 4 beats but locally strong to very strong, 5 to 6 beams.
The sea will be turbulent but gradually to the west and south it will be wavy. The temperature will drop to 9 degrees inland, around 12 on the coast and one degree in the higher mountains, where locally frost will form. Tomorrow the weather will be partly cloudy with local rains and isolated thunderstorms, initially in the south and east, while in the afternoon the phenomena will affect more the interior and the mountains. Snow or snow may fall on the peaks of Troodos.
The winds will initially blow southwest to northwest to soon turn mainly northeast, moderate 4 but locally to strong, 5's. The sea will be icy and locally very icy. The temperature will rise to around 15 degrees inland and on the coast and to 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where locally there will be frost.
Tomorrow night the weather will gradually become partly cloudy with heavy rains, mainly inland and in the mountains. In the highest peaks of Troodos, sleet or even snow may fall. The winds will blow mainly northeast, generally moderate 4 degrees but initially in the winds - up to strong 5 degrees. The sea will be wavy but will gradually become turbulent.
On Saturday the weather will be mostly clear but temporarily there will be increased clouds, which may give light rain, mainly in the mountains. On Sunday and Monday the weather will be mostly clear. The temperature will rise gradually.
