An incredible incident, amid restrictive trafficking measures, took place last night in Strovolos.

Specifically, around 9 pm, a 63-year-old man, while he was in his car and going to his house, noticed in the adjacent apartment building where he lives, a car in which four people were riding. From this two got down and moved towards the entrance, kicking her.

Then, while he was in his vehicle, he moved towards the two who remained in the car and asked them what was going on. Then one of them got off and knocked on the door of his 63-year-old vehicle.

The vehicle left the area after a while and after a while it returned with two other vehicles, transporting a total of 12 to 15 people.

The 63-year-old was on the ground floor of the building at the time, along with four other people. A man from the three cars got out and pulled out a pistol, marking one of the four. The 63-year-old, who was holding two chisels, then threw them at him, causing the pistol to fall to the ground. The man then fired a shot into the air with a shotgun, for intimidation, with the three cars leaving the scene and the episode ending.

Police were alerted at the scene and cordoned off the area. 27 complete cartridges, wood, etc. were found. The 63-year-old's shotgun was also confiscated, while testimony was given about the vehicles.

One vehicle was spotted around 10:XNUMX pm and stopped. The co-driver fled, while three other people (a Syrian, a Turkish asylum seeker and a Greek Cypriot) who were on board were arrested for violating the restrictive measures.

The driver was re-arrested for failing to comply to stop.

The person who escaped was located a little later and arrested. This is a person from Syria.

All four were taken to the Nicosia Police Department and the examinations continue. A 15 cm knife was also found in the vehicle.
