The Municipality of Larnaca is proceeding with the construction of a wooden footbridge on the Nature Trail, located in the Larnaca salt flat.
According to a written announcement of the Municipality of Larnaca, the company ExxonMobil Cyprus Ltd offered a sum of 15 thousand euros for its construction, whose representatives visited today the Mayor of Larnaca Andreas Vyras and handed him the check.
The wooden footbridge will connect Christoforou Savva Street with the Nature Trail in Aliki Larnaca.
The construction of the footbridge "Which will offer access to the residents of the area on the Nature Trail, is included in the upgrade projects of the area around Aliki that are promoted by the Municipality of Larnaca, the Department of State Environment and the Larnaca Tourism Development and Promotion Company", is noted.
The Municipality of Larnaca expresses "Warm thanks to ExxonMobil Cyprus Ltd for the sponsorship that will contribute to the promotion of the important wetland of Alykes".
