In the context of teaching the course of deepening literature in the Lyceum but also of the promotion of literacy in schools, which is a goal of the Lyceum of Kokkinochorion and a long-term goal of the Ministry of Education, the teachers of the course Andri Modestou and Giannousanou Stavrou literary meeting with the young writer Anna Miltiadou and the outgoing writer Andri Hairalla.
The students of the Lyceum of Kokkinochorion, who are attending the Literature course in the 5nd and XNUMXrd grade, and the students of the art department of the XNUMXrd grade had the opportunity on Tuesday, April XNUMX to talk to the author and the publisher they visited. the School in a warm and creative atmosphere.
The author, Anna Miltiadou, who is also a candidate for the State Award for Young Writer, presented to the students "the magical world of writing" through her experience from her first writing effort, which resulted in the novel "Diamond which burns ". She referred to the sources of inspiration, the dilemmas in which she found herself but also to the pleasant emotions that flooded her taking the book in her hands.
The publisher, Andri Hairalla, spoke to the students about the path "from inspiration to tangible creation", presenting the stages of a book to be published and encouraging students who love literature and creative writing to dare to engage with writing.
During the literary meeting the students presented their views on literature and asked questions.
